APPLICATION FOR ASSISTANCE

Faith Roots Abortion Fund is not an abortion provider. We are a member of the National Network of Abortion Funds, offering practical support in the form of assistance with travel costs for your abortion, lodging, meals, and other expenses.

As of May 7th, a Real ID is required for air travel. Minors traveling with an adult do not need a Real ID.

Forms of Real ID: 

  • State Id with a star on the upper right corner

  • U.S. passports/Foreign government-issued passports;

  • Trusted traveler cards (global entry; Nexus; Sentri; Fast)

  • U.S. Department of Defense ID

  • Permanent Resident Card

  • Border Crossing Card

  • Veteran Health Identification Card

  • A photo ID issued by a federally recognized Tribal Nation, including enhanced tribal cards.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Faith Roots Abortion Fund provides practical support while you are receiving care in NM. We do not cover the cost of your abortion.

  • We rely on volunteers for transportation, and we will do the best we can to get you to your appointments.

  • Our volunteers are not available for Sunday arrivals or Saturday departures, so please plan your trip accordingly. No guarantees can be provided, especially if you are arriving or leaving very late at night or early in the morning.

  • If you plan to bring a support person with you, we cannot fund the travel expenses for that person.

  • Please contact us the Friday before your appointment to ensure we have enough time to get everything ready for your arrival.

  • If you contact us after 5pm Mountain Time, we will be in touch with you by 5pm the next business day.

  • If your plans have changed or you haven’t heard back from us please call our patient hotline at 1.505.398.1010 (must dial 1). All calls on weekends and evenings after 5pm Mountain Time go to voicemail.
